Our client is a food producer and distributor based in Gozo.
Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee daily bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established internal controls;
- Prepare periodic management accounts in a timely and accurate manner;
- Compile and submit statutory and regulatory returns in line with applicable deadlines and requirements;
- Prepare periodic financial and operational reports for management review;
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, financial institutions, service providers, and other relevant stakeholders as required;
- Assist with the preparation and submission of applications for government assistance schemes and related claims.
Experience
- In possession of a recognised Accountancy certification;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar accounting or finance role;
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including data manipulation and analysis;
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and other standard office software tools.

- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy;
- Proactive and capable of managing responsibilities effectively within set deadlines.
