Our client is a corporate service provider.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in the planning and execution of statutory audits under the supervision of audit seniors;
- Perform audit procedures, including verifying the accuracy of financial statements and identifying areas of audit risk;
- Review transactions, documents, records, reports and methods for accuracy and completeness;
- Prepare adequate audit working papers in a timely manner;
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and other reports as required;
- Liaise with external advisors as needed;
- Assist in the preparation of tax computations and tax returns for clients, ensuring compliance with local tax laws and regulations;
- Meet work plan specifications and deadlines;
- Perform other duties as may be assigned;
- Able to work within a team and with other departments in the company.
Experience
- Currently reading for an ACCA, ACA or a recognized University Accounting degree;
- Have a minimum of 1 year of work experience in a similar role;
- Be proficient with MS office applications, especially Excel.
