The company provides legal and financial services to clients from the gaming industry.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Setting up and heading the Key Function department within the local office;
  • Offer Key Function services to our growing portfolio of Malta Gaming Authority licenced clients;
  • Build the department from the ground up and therefore this includes the setting up of policies, procedures
    and checklists whilst ensuring that proper and sufficient on the job training is provided;
  • Investigating client wishes and needs and acting accordingly, anticipating client needs, giving high priority to service and client satisfaction;
  • Coming up with solutions for job-related problems and devising new working methods to replace current methods;
  • Upholding generally accepted social and ethical standards in job-related activities;
  • Contributing actively to a joint result or solution to a problem and works towards collective results with other people of his/her own accord;
  • Construct an annual plan and budget for the local office and show show exemplary behaviour in leadership through our values;
  • Ensure the presence of a client service oriented culture and maintain close contact with key clients;
  • Coach the team on commercial awareness whilst contributing to product/market development, together with the Business Development and Marketing teams;
  • Responsible for the team capacity and decide, together with the Board, on hiring or replacement of staff members based on the annual performance review, goal setting and promotion process;
  • Build and maintain profitable partnerships and relationships with key accounts, intermediaries and any other external stakeholders, especially with the Malta Gaming Authority.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant professional experience in a gaming-focused local corporate service provider setup or Malta Gaming Authority licensed company;
  • At least 5 years of experience in management;
  • Experience within Maltese corporate law or having a financial background will be considered an asset;
  • Background within a compliance function in a gaming-related industries will be considered an asset.
