Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Performing frequency-based Preventive Maintenance and rectifying any issues found;
- Diagnosing breakdown causes and repairing them;
- Performing equipment installations and vehicles to regulatory standards;
- Be involved in any project plans for the installation of new equipment;
- Modifying and improving Equipment, Plant and Processes;
- Calibrating instrumentation including Weighing systems, Flow control, and Level Indicators;
- Contributing to the development of safe systems of work ensuring that the company's Health and Safety Standards are complied with, and safe working practices are always adopted;
- Providing technical advice, training support and information to departmental managers, supervisors and staff.
Experience
- Have at least 3 years of relevant experience;
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Honours in Mechanical Engineering);
- Have advance knowledge of maintenance processes and standards in the fields;
- Hold a Driving License;
- Be proficient in both Maltese and English;
- Be able to generate reports and schedules with a software.
