Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Aid in the installation of domestic and commercial water filtration and treatment systems;
  • Support the repair of components such as reverse osmosis (RO) systems, faucets, water softeners, descaling equipment, and filtration units;
  • Assist in ensuring functional, leak-free installations through proper servicing;
  • Prepare requests for equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and ensure the availability of necessary materials;
  • Conduct pressure tests to identify leaks in newly installed or repaired systems;
  • Help measure, cut, thread, bend, ream, and install pipes and pipe fittings;
  • Assemble pipe sections, tubing, and fittings as required;
  • Assist in diagnosing issues or failures within filtration systems;
  • Record activities to provide clear written documentation of work completed;
  • Aid in marking and positioning pipes, connections, passage holes, and fixtures according to system installation requirements;
  • Attend departmental meetings and participates in periodic inventory checks and vehicle inspections;
  • Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition, adhering to safe usage practices;
  • Communicate with clients about the services performed and ensure their satisfaction after every installation, maintenance, or repair;
  • Prepare cost estimates for company approval before undertaking any additional work;
  • Participate in all training programs organized by the company to enhance skills and knowledge.

Experience

  • Possession of a trade certificate in domestic home maintenance and installations will be considered advantageous;
  • Fundamental understanding of single-phase electrical systems and associated safety practices;
  • A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required.

Personal Skills

  • Ability to perform multiple technical tasks including operating equipment, adhering to safety practices, and planning/managing installations;
  • Ability to read technical information, compose documents, and solve practical problems.
