Our client provides language and translation services.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Translate written content accurately and consistently from English into Maltese, ensuring linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance;
- Proofread and revise Maltese translations to ensure clarity, correctness, and adherence to quality standards;
- Ensure terminology, tone, and style are consistent with client guidelines and industry standards;
- Liaise with internal teams, reviewers, or project coordinators to clarify requirements and resolve linguistic queries;
- Stay up to date with developments in the Maltese language, translation best practices, and relevant terminology.
Experience
- University degree at MQF Level 6 or higher;
- Native-level proficiency in Maltese;
- Excellent written and spoken command of the English language;
- Knowledge of additional languages such as Italian, French, German, or Spanish is considered an advantage;
- Familiarity with office software and translation tools is an asset;
- Previous experience in Maltese translation is preferred;
- A certification in Maltese proofreading will be viewed favourably.

- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
