Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Ensure that the company’s overall sales targets and expectations to drive growth and sustainability are met and surpassed;
  • Discovers and pursues new sales prospects;
  • Promotes and sells media products and services for print and online and maintains excellent relationships with all clients;
  • Studies and understands all facets of the media products and services being offered;
  • Trains in various sales tactics and approaches approved by the company;
  • Approaches potential clients through new leads, cold calls, networking, social media, existing relationships, promotional events, or other means;
  • Hones and delivers a skilled sales pitch to potential clients, explaining the benefits, data, reach and potential audience of specific media offerings to them through professional presentations;
  • Details pricing and negotiate costs when necessary and handle complaints;
  • Facilitates successful sales by collecting client information and providing order information to the company, creating frequent reports with sales and financial data;
  • Tracks every media sale made to ensure that it is completed accurately and on time;
  • Works to maximize sales and meet targets in the short and long term;
  • Maintains excellent relationships with all clients in the executive's portfolio;
  • Meets clients outside of normal business hours when necessary;
  • Collaborates with the rest of the team to achieve better results.


  • Previous experience in a similar role is required.

  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English and also Maltese;
  • Technologically savvy and excellent knowledge of traditional and new media;
  • Strong commitment to customer service and a keen eye for detail;
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Self-motivated and results-driven;
  • Understanding of marketing technology and negotiating skills;
  • Excellent organization and administration skills;
  • Fast learner and passion for sales.
