Our client is a leading trading business in Malta.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Align warehouse management with the company’s values, policies, and vision;
- Supervise operations involving incoming goods, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance;
- Maximize efficient use of warehouse space;
- Responsible for quality control;
- Ensure optimum resource allocation;
- Create, coordinate, and implement optimal operational policies and procedures;
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and achieve organisational goals;
- Adhere to all regulations regarding warehousing, handling, and shipping;
- Uphold high standards of health, safety, hygiene, and security;
- Control stock and reconcile it with the data storage system;
- Investigate stock discrepancies within one week and report findings to the CFOO;
- Work together with the CFOO to prepare annual budget and KPIs related to the Warehouse Department;
- Communicate with clients and transportation companies;
- Plan and assign work schedules, and evaluate performance;
- Recruit, select, orient, coach, and motivate employees;
- Generate regular reports and statistics;
- Collect feedback and monitor service quality;
- Oversee and utilize security systems and maintenance;
- Streamline the route planning process;
- Ensure best practices across all operations;
- Lead by example, motivating the team and fostering a collaborative environment.
Experience
- Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as an Operations or Warehouse Manager, preferably within the FMCG industry;
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
