Our client is a construction company.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare cost estimates for Civil/Architect works and create Bid Documents for both new build and refurbishment/restoration building projects;
- Determine project costs by calculating labor, material, and related expenses;
- Supervise construction projects to ensure compliance with engineering designs and documents, confirming specifications;
- Confirm adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress, inspecting construction sites, and verifying calculations and placements;
- Validate design issues and suggest alternative solutions;
- Fulfill project requirements by guiding operators;
- Maintain operations by enforcing project and operational policies and procedures;
- Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions;
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results as needed;
- Direct, monitor, and control the activities of Civil/Architect Subcontractors;
- Liaise with Consultant Civl/Architect supervisory Engineers, Inspectors, and relevant staff;
- Ensure that Civil/Architect Subcontractors provide and adhere to relevant Quality documentation/records;
- Ensure that Civil/Architect Subcontractors adhere to Project safety regulations;
- Maintain the project database by entering data and completing backups.
Experience
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Architect engineering;
- Possess a valid warrant to practice in Malta;
- Bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in Civil/Architect engineering;
- Demonstrate proficiency in CAD and AutoCAD;
- Display excellent command of both written and spoken English.

- Show in-depth knowledge of the Maltese construction market;
- Highlight demonstrated design proficiency;
- Ability to fully handle site development and coordination;
- Possess effective organization and planning abilities;
- Demonstrate adeptness at problem-solving.
