Our client is an architecture and interior desgin firm.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Review and extract quantities from architectural, structural, and engineering drawings;
- Carry out precise on-site measurements to validate project requirements;
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs), specifications, and tender documentation prior to construction;
- Contribute to cost estimation, budgeting, and value engineering initiatives;
- Track material usage and assess contractor claims against completed site works;
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to identify and resolve discrepancies;
- Assist with procurement activities and contract administration tasks.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline;
- Previous experience in a quantity surveying or similar role within the construction sector;
- Solid understanding of measurement methods, cost estimation, and preparation of tender documentation;
- Skilled in quantity surveying software and proficient in MS Office applications;
- Strong command of AutoCAD (essential); familiarity with Revit is considered an advantage;
- Willingness and ability to carry out site visits and perform physical measurements; own transport required.
