Our client is a leading environmental management company.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct regular cost analyses to ensure alignment with project financial objectives;
- Oversee interim payment evaluations and manage the cost control process efficiently;
- Prepare and update monthly Work in Progress (WIP) reports while monitoring financial performance metrics;
- Perform precise on-site measurements, ensuring meticulous record-keeping;
- Track and document materials issued and returned for each project;
- Work closely with Project Leaders to confirm subcontractor rates and optimize resource allocation;
- Draft claims documentation in line with specifications, drawings, and bills of quantities;
- Manage design variation claims and collaborate with stakeholders to address associated costs;
- Audit and certify subcontractor payments, ensuring accuracy in invoice certifications;
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety Regulations throughout all project stages;
- Uphold quality standards by following company protocols and field procedures;
- Assist in resolving client and subcontractor disputes, fostering positive resolutions;
- Safeguard confidential information, maintaining trust with clients and stakeholders;
- Participate in relevant training programs to enhance expertise and meet industry benchmarks.
Experience
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a closely related discipline;
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience, preferably in construction project management, cost control, or similar roles;
- Comprehensive understanding of contract administration, cost management practices, and construction materials;
- Fluency in both Maltese and English.
