Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage credit facilities for corporate clients, overseeing their ongoing monitoring and servicing;
  • Prepare respective credit applications from information and documentation collected from the customers, to include facility definition, preparation of deal structuring, propose security and carry out a full financial assessment including recommended covenants;
  • Assess and recommend customers’ proposals in accordance with the Bank’s credit policies, credit risk and AML risk considerations;
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to clients;
  • Collaborate closely with Risk, Operations, Compliance, and Legal departments;
  • Act as a key component of the Bank’s first line of defense within its Risk and AML framework.


  • Possess a degree in related areas of Finance, Banking, Business Administration or Law;
  • Have a least 5 years’ of experience in a relevant field;
  • Knowledge of corporate loans structuring, including working capital loans and real estate financing;
  • Be fluent in both Maltese and English;
  • Be proficient in the use of MS Office applications with a focus on Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong communication, analytical and financial skills;

  • Strong ‘team’ skills;
