Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Assist in compiling, collecting, and analyzing data and reports related to risk management;
  • Support the preparation of risk reports and dashboards for senior management review;
  • Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and the Risk Appetite Statement, ensuring that any breaches are escalated to the appropriate department;
  • Provide assistance to ensure adherence to banking regulations and compliance requirements;
  • Gather and organize data for audits and regulatory reviews as needed;
  • Maintain the operational risk incidents dashboard and aid in managing internal controls within the risk register;
  • Assist in the development and preparation of regulatory documents, including the ICAAP, ILAAP, and Recovery Plan, and support additional projects as required;
  • Regularly review and update policies and procedures to ensure they remain current and effective;
  • Perform administrative duties and other tasks to support the Risk Management team.

Experience

  • Hold a Diploma or Degree, ideally in Banking or Finance;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications, especially MS Excel and MS Word;
  • Be fluent in English, both written and verbal;
  • Previous experience in a Financial Services institution is considered advantageous.

  • Capable of working independently with minimal supervision, possessing excellent organizational, time management, and prioritization skills to meet deadlines effectively.
