Company Introduction

Our client is a leading Maltese producer of alcoholic beverages.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify and establish relationships with new clients, expanding the company’s presence within the HORECA sector;
  • Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for both new and existing clients;
  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives tailored to the hospitality industry;
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and retention;
  • Track sales performance and follow up on client payments in line with agreed contractual terms;
  • Occasionally conduct training sessions focused on product knowledge and wine merchandising techniques;
  • Build and maintain strong rapport with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client accounts;
  • Coordinate the preparation and placement of branded point-of-sale materials, such as wine displays;
  • Host client visits to the wine cellars, delivering engaging product presentations and tastings;
  • Represent the company at events, trade fairs, and promotional activities, acting as a brand ambassador;
  • Conduct routine visits to clients to provide service updates and explore new business opportunities.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of proven experience in sales and in-field marketing;
  • Previous hands-on sales and marketing experience is essential;
  • Knowledge of the local HORECA sector and the wine trade is an asset;
  • Possess at least an 'O' level standard of education;
  • Hold a clean driving license.
