Our client is a leading Maltese producer of alcoholic beverages.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Identify and establish relationships with new clients, expanding the company’s presence within the HORECA sector;
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements for both new and existing clients;
- Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives tailored to the hospitality industry;
- Deliver exceptional customer service and ongoing support to ensure client satisfaction and retention;
- Track sales performance and follow up on client payments in line with agreed contractual terms;
- Occasionally conduct training sessions focused on product knowledge and wine merchandising techniques;
- Build and maintain strong rapport with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client accounts;
- Coordinate the preparation and placement of branded point-of-sale materials, such as wine displays;
- Host client visits to the wine cellars, delivering engaging product presentations and tastings;
- Represent the company at events, trade fairs, and promotional activities, acting as a brand ambassador;
- Conduct routine visits to clients to provide service updates and explore new business opportunities.
Experience
- At least 3 years of proven experience in sales and in-field marketing;
- Previous hands-on sales and marketing experience is essential;
- Knowledge of the local HORECA sector and the wine trade is an asset;
- Possess at least an 'O' level standard of education;
- Hold a clean driving license.
