Our client is a leading operator in the hospitality industry.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee the prompt posting of all invoices and payments with meticulous attention to detail;
- Skillfully handle bank transfers with precision and accuracy;
- Invoice third-party rentals in accordance with established agreements;
- Maintain a comprehensive database, ensuring records are not only complete but also up-to-date;
- Contribute to the preparation of general ledger accounts, diligently monitoring and reconciling balance sheet items;
- Update ledgers and proactively research and resolve any discrepancies that may arise;
- Adhere to all company procedures and uphold the highest standards of accounting principles;
- Responsively address inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal stakeholders;
- Collaborate in assisting with year-end audit requests, actively supporting the audit process;
- Provide steadfast support to the department in daily responsibilities and be prepared to handle additional administrative duties as they arise.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of valuable experience in a similar position;
- Advanced level of accounting or ACCA level F4, showcasing a high level of expertise in the field;
- Proficient in computer literacy, particularly in Word, Excel, and email communications;
- Essential experience with accounting packages and proficiency in MS Office applications;
- Fluent in both Maltese and English languages, facilitating seamless communication.

- Proven ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and possesses effective verbal and written communication abilities.
