Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare, review and update AML/KYC reports, including risk assessments, risk appetite statements, regulatory reporting and quarterly compliance reports;
  • Attend on-site visits or online KYC file review meetings, prepare related reports and review reports completed by associates;
  • Conduct internal audits of client files to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Act as Compliance Officer for supervised clients or funds;
  • Participate in weekly team meetings and contribute to ongoing compliance-related discussions;
  • Review and update AML training materials in line with relevant requirements;
  • Deliver AML training sessions to clients when required, including live and face-to-face training;
  • Review AML frameworks and supporting documentation, including due diligence questionnaires, AML policies and risk assessments, to ensure regulatory compliance;
  • Keep up to date with regulatory developments and provide relevant input for client reports and compliance documentation;
  • Conduct due diligence reviews on service providers and review due diligence reports prepared by other team members;
  • Review Directors’ and Officers’ insurance documentation provided by clients to assess whether appropriate coverage is in place;
  • Review and update internal processes, subject to management approval, and communicate approved changes to relevant employees, contractors and stakeholders;
  • Support ad-hoc consultancy assignments relating to compliance, AML/CFT and ESG matters as directed by management;
  • Review and approve name-screening alerts within compliance systems when required;
  • Assist with the preparation and drafting of internal policies, procedures and documentation, including Business Continuity Planning (BCP);
  • Follow established internal procedures and maintain accurate records of work completed within the relevant time-monitoring system.

Experience

  • Have 3–4 years of professional experience within compliance, AML/CFT or a related field;
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience of Luxembourg AML/CFT regulations and regulatory requirements is required;
  • Proven experience preparing AML/KYC reports, risk assessments and other compliance documentation;
  • Previous experience conducting internal audits and due diligence reviews;
  • Familiarity with compliance monitoring systems and name-screening tools.
