Our client offers a wide range of professional services, primarily focused on corporate and financial matters.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the day-to-day execution of audit engagements across a varied portfolio of clients;
- Assist with the planning of audit assignments and coordinate activities throughout each engagement;
- Review audit working papers, supporting documentation and evidence to ensure accuracy, completeness and quality;
- Assess audit risks and communicate relevant findings to clients and internal team members;
- Address routine technical audit matters and respond to client queries arising during engagements;
- Monitor engagement progress and support the completion of audit assignments within agreed deadlines;
- Provide guidance and ongoing support to junior auditors throughout the audit process;
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.
Experience
- ACCA qualified or in possession of an equivalent professional qualification;
- Minimum 3 years of experience within external audit;
- Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs);
- Good knowledge of IFRS and/or GAPSME;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
- Experience using CaseWare or similar audit software will be considered an asset;
- Previous experience reviewing the work of junior auditors will be considered an asset;
- Excellent written and spoken English.
