Company Introduction
Our client is a leading healthcare distributor.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Notify suppliers of any discrepancies identified in incoming consignments compared to the original invoice;
- Record new stock consignments promptly and accurately;
- Submit customs declarations through the Malta Customs online portal to facilitate timely clearance of goods;
- Oversee inventory location transfers within the internal stock management system;
- Support sales department managers by providing updates on stock levels, product expiries, and profit margins;
- Update product pricing and make necessary adjustments to stock records;
- Report to management on products approaching their expiry date;
- Place orders to replenish inventory as needed;
- Review and correct inventory levels for items returned from retail outlets;
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical stock and system records within required timeframes;
- Maintain strict confidentiality and demonstrate a high level of professionalism at all times.
Experience
- Hold an O’ level standard of education or an equivalent qualification;
- Strong proficiency in the English language, both written and spoken;
- Well-versed in Microsoft Office, with a particular focus on Word and Excel;
- Prior experience in inventory management.
