Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist in local and overseas implementation;
- Perform functional and integration testing;
- Perform data conversions;
- Provide client support onsite or remotely;
- Ensure quality standards are adhered to;
- Be the primary contact for clients, in order to ensure client satisfaction;
- Carry out the installation, training and implementation of application software;
- Report writing (mainly using Crystal Reports).
- Perform system upgrades.
- Handle the documentation of client support issues and status tracking.
Experience
- In possession of an IT related qualification or experience in a similar position will be considered an asset;
- At least 2-3 years of experience in the industry performing a similar role.
Personal Skills
- Basic knowledge of company business processes;
- Basic knowledge of accounting fundamentals;
- Have an idea of the double-entry system; debit and credit;
- Knowledgeable of record keeping – sale of a service, sale of a tangible product, tax, returns and purchases.
- Knowledgeable of profit and loss, trial balance, vat return and bank reconciliation.
