Our client is an established corporate service provider.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Handle document management tasks, including scanning, saving, organizing, and forwarding relevant documents to the team and clients;
- Review and verify financial figures in tax statements and receipts, cross-checking with internal records and liaising with clients when necessary to ensure timely tax payments within set deadlines;
- Maintain and update internal records while coordinating with accountants and clients to provide essential details for upcoming VAT returns and recap statements;
- Support client onboarding by collecting and preparing necessary documentation, such as engagement letters, authorization forms for tax representation, and shareholder registration forms;
- Communicate with the MTCA to facilitate required changes or obtain necessary certificates;
- Submit NIL VAT/Tax returns and assist with Intrastat filings via the MTCA portal;
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Experience
- Prior experience in an accounting clerical role is highly advantageous;
- Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook;
- Excellent command of written and spoken English.
