Company Introduction
Our client is a provider of corporate, tax, accounting, business advisory, and administration services.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide tax advice for clients as may be relevant;
- Assist private clients with their fiscal obligations in terms of the various tax residency schemes;
- Conduct thorough research on local, EU, and international tax developments;
- Review tax computations and Tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations and ensure timely submission to relevant authorities;
- Review tax compliance documents such as shareholders’ registration forms and claim for refund forms;
- Respond to Tax-related queries from clients and relevant authorities;
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to address and resolve tax-related issues;
- Stay updated on tax legislation changes and communicate updates to clients;
- Provide training to colleagues and clients on Tax regulations and procedures;
- Exhibit leadership qualities to inspire team members.
Experience
- Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Tax compliance and/or tax advisory services, or equivalent experience in a tax role;
- Possess a University degree in Law or Accountancy or an equivalent qualification;
- Any other professional qualification in Tax and experience in other areas of tax compliance will be considered as an asset;
- Have in-depth knowledge of Tax regulations and procedures;
- Fluency in both English and Maltese languages.
