Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Prepare and submit individual and corporate income tax returns in a timely and accurate manner;
  • Assist clients with tax refund applications, registrations, and share transfer documentation;
  • Manage correspondence with the Malta Tax and Customs Administration;
  • Collaborate with accounting and audit teams to ensure a coordinated and efficient service delivery;
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax legislation and internal quality standards;
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in Maltese tax laws and regulations.

Experience

  • ACCA-qualified or in possession of a Master’s degree in Accountancy;
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in taxation;
  • Membership with the Malta Institute of Taxation (MIT) or equivalent certification will be considered an asset;
  • Good working knowledge of Maltese income tax legislation;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
