Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Design and deliver technically sound, cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs and budgetary requirements;
  • Prepare detailed proposals and clarify technical, commercial, and administrative tender specifications;
  • Define winning bid strategies and lead the tendering process from review to submission;
  • Conduct value-engineering assessments to optimise technical offerings and enhance project viability;
  • Perform site visits and inspections to assess feasibility, risks, and alignment with proposed solutions;
  • Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards (ISO, LPCB, SOPs);
  • Maintain organised documentation, including client approvals and technical records;
  • Address internal team discipline where necessary and lead by example through professional conduct;
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients, colleagues, and suppliers throughout project lifecycles;
  • Deliver a flexible, client-focused service approach that fosters long-term partnerships and customer retention.

Experience

  • At least 3 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline;
  • Previous experience working with fire safety and security systems is essential;
  • Strong understanding of tender processes and proposal development;
  • Familiarity with value-engineering practices and solution optimisation;
  • Valid Maltese driving licence required.
