- Design and deliver technically sound, cost-effective solutions tailored to client needs and budgetary requirements;
- Prepare detailed proposals and clarify technical, commercial, and administrative tender specifications;
- Define winning bid strategies and lead the tendering process from review to submission;
- Conduct value-engineering assessments to optimise technical offerings and enhance project viability;
- Perform site visits and inspections to assess feasibility, risks, and alignment with proposed solutions;
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations and internal quality standards (ISO, LPCB, SOPs);
- Maintain organised documentation, including client approvals and technical records;
- Address internal team discipline where necessary and lead by example through professional conduct;
- Maintain consistent communication with clients, colleagues, and suppliers throughout project lifecycles;
- Deliver a flexible, client-focused service approach that fosters long-term partnerships and customer retention.
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role;
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline;
- Previous experience working with fire safety and security systems is essential;
- Strong understanding of tender processes and proposal development;
- Familiarity with value-engineering practices and solution optimisation;
- Valid Maltese driving licence required.
