Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan and implement business and operational projects according to their requirements;
  • Participate with the design of new software components and their respective workflows;
  • Work with the team to address any improvements required to the existing systems or workflows;
  • System KPI monitoring and analysis to pin point improvements;
  • Resolve any outstanding issues within defined SLAs and involvement in subsequent problem management exercises;
  • Implement supporting database and middleware capabilities to support software module development and operations;
  • Perform black/grey box testing to identify and escalate bugs to the respective software development team;
  • Aim at automating any manual processes to optimise operations as much as possible;
  • Research and test new technologies with the aim to keep innovation on the forefront across our systems;
  • Roaster based 24/7 on-call responsibilities.


  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or other related field;
  • Hold at least 3 years previous experience as a senior System Engineer and/or Senior DevOps engineer;
  • Good understanding of IT management concepts, ideally be familiar with ITIL concepts;
  • Working knowledge of scripting and/or programming languages;
  • Working knowledge in supporting and maintaining Java Applications and other middleware technologies such as Fusion Middleware;
  • Working knowledge using PL/SQL, Windows/Linux Administration, OS base scripting;
  • Basic knowledge with Micro-Service architecture;
  • Basic knowledge of TCP/IP network protocol;
  • Good knowledge of the mobile/fixed telecoms industry especially in service fulfilment, Portability, and CRM platforms.
