Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct the whole tendering process assuring quality and efficiency up to closing stage;
- Search for new projects (government and private projects) and contact new clients;
- Ensure tendering participation for the most possible number of projects and that the business targets set by senior management are met;
- Ensure that all tenders are submitted with the required documentation and avoid disqualification;
- Ensure that all tenders are being submitted on time and priced as instructed by senior management;
- Follow-up with clients and their consultants on projects for the company has submitted offers;
- Ensure timely and efficient clarifications with clients at all stages;
- Keep an up to date database of projects in which the department has participated and a their status;
- Represent company at meetings with customers from quote stage until closing stage;
- Prepare and submit reports as requested from time to time;
- Liaise with other colleagues in relation to business needs.
Experience
- Be a highly technical person and ideally possess a Mechanical Engineering Qualification;
- Hold experience in a Tenders Department within the Building Services Industry and comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and BOQs.
