Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial reports, and month-end and year-end closing activities;
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting processes;
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records;
- Support cash flow monitoring, working capital management, and financial planning activities;
- Assist with VAT returns, statutory filings, audit requirements, and other compliance-related obligations;
- Monitor financial controls and contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing reporting accuracy and efficiency;
- Liaise with finance teams across multiple jurisdictions;
- Support ERP implementation, finance system enhancements, and process optimisation projects where required.
Experience
- ACCA, ACA, CPA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification, or currently in the final stages of qualification;
- Have 2–5 years of experience within accounting, finance, or a similar role;
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes;
- Experience working within a multi-company or group environment will be considered an asset;
- Experience using ERP systems or accounting software will be considered an asset;
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
