Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Conduct hazard identification, risk assessments, and support safety risk management activities across the organisation;
  • Support Management of Change (MoC) processes, including risk assessments and follow-up of corrective actions;
  • Monitor and oversee the implementation of safety actions and mitigation measures, ensuring timely completion and escalation where necessary;
  • Monitor safety performance against company objectives and prepare regular safety and compliance reports for management;
  • Provide guidance and support on safety-related matters to promote safe and compliant operations;
  • Manage occurrence reporting processes, including the coordination and follow-up of internal investigations;
  • Maintain safety management documentation, records, and compliance-related files;
  • Conduct audits, raise findings where required, and monitor corrective actions to ensure effective resolution;
  • Monitor the effectiveness of management systems, compliance processes, and operational procedures;
  • Support compliance and quality assurance functions across relevant aviation regulatory approvals and operational areas;
  • Assist with updates and amendments to operational manuals, management systems documentation, and company procedures;
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy, and maintenance of company manuals, handbooks, and compliance documentation;
  • Support personnel competence assessments and ensure ongoing compliance with safety, operational, and human factors requirements;
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities, stakeholders, and internal departments regarding safety and compliance matters;
  • Participate in management, safety, and compliance meetings, including Safety Review Board meetings where required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience, including at least 2 years within an aviation safety management environment;
  • Previous experience within aircraft maintenance, continuing airworthiness, compliance monitoring, or aviation safety operations;
  • Strong understanding of ICAO standards, EU aviation regulations, and safety management system requirements;
  • Knowledge of auditing techniques, including planning, conducting, reporting, and corrective action follow-up;
  • Understanding of Human Factors principles and aviation safety operating practices;
  • Previous experience within a CAMO environment will be considered an asset;
  • Knowledge of aircraft maintenance methods and relevant EU aviation regulations, including Regulation (EU) No 1321/2014 and Regulation (EU) No 748/2012;
  • Relevant engineering qualification or aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional approved technical education;
  • Strong understanding of aviation safety risks, occurrence investigations, and root cause methodologies;
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required.
