Our client is a well-established law firm.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Advocate for clients before the Maltese Courts and other adjudicating bodies, handling all phases of civil litigation;
- Prepare a wide range of legal documentation, including sworn applications, replies, submissions, legal opinions, advisory letters, judicial acts, and any other required filings;
- Carry out legal research, develop case strategies, and provide clients with guidance on their rights, obligations, and potential risks;
- Maintain regular communication with clients, court personnel, experts, and other relevant parties throughout the process;
- Oversee allocated case files independently, ensuring all deadlines, formalities, and procedural steps are followed;
- Attend client meetings, consultations, negotiations, and settlement discussions whenever needed;
- Support the firm’s ongoing professional development efforts, including contributing to internal knowledge sharing and best-practice initiatives.
Experience
- Hold a Law degree (M. Adv and LL.D.) with a warrant to practice as an Advocate in Malta;
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience litigating civil cases before the Courts of Malta.
Personal Skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload and handle matters with minimal supervision;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Maltese and English;
- Strong legal research skills, analytical reasoning, and attention to detail;
- Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality legal services;
