Our client is a leading real estate company.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Gather, review, and analyse compliance-related data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to internal standards;
- Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) checks and perform Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) when required;
- Process and vet data submitted at branch level to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements;
- Perform client and transaction screening, including adverse media checks, to identify potential risks;
- Ensure full compliance with MFSA and FIAU regulations, collecting all necessary documentation and information from clients;
- Conduct periodic compliance monitoring to evaluate internal control effectiveness and recommend improvements;
- Maintain and update the company’s compliance software and systems on a regular basis;
- Prepare ad hoc reports for management and regulatory authorities as needed.
Experience
- Tertiary education, preferably in Finance, Law, Compliance, Business Administration, or a related field;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a compliance or AML-related role, ideally within financial services or real estate.
Personal Skills
- Fluent in Maltese and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills;
- Strong analytical and interpersonal abilities, capable of presenting findings clearly and collaborating effectively across teams;
- Proactive, adaptable, and able to take initiative in a fast-paced environment with evolving business and regulatory demands.
