Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage and prioritise multiple web and e-commerce projects, ensuring activities are aligned with wider business objectives;
  • Translate business requirements and opportunities into clear product specifications, user stories and actionable tasks;
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, priorities and project requirements;
  • Coordinate developers, designers, marketing teams and other stakeholders throughout the delivery of digital projects;
  • Monitor development progress and ensure projects and new features are delivered efficiently and within agreed priorities;
  • Test and validate new functionality prior to release, identifying any issues or areas requiring improvement;
  • Identify project challenges, bottlenecks and opportunities to improve existing products and processes;
  • Monitor product and commercial performance following implementation or launch;
  • Use business data, customer feedback and commercial objectives to support product decisions and prioritisation;
  • Evaluate existing processes and propose practical improvements where appropriate;
  • Take ownership of projects from initial requirements through to implementation rather than working solely from predefined tasks.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience within Product Ownership, Product Management, Project Management or a similar digital position;
  • Previous experience working with web products, e-commerce platforms or SaaS solutions;
  • Strong commercial understanding with the ability to recognise how product decisions can influence revenue, conversion, customer retention and user experience;
  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders simultaneously;
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear specifications and requirements for technical teams;
  • Comfortable working closely with developers and discussing technical requirements, although a development background is not required;
  • Knowledge of APIs, databases, tracking, payment systems or web architecture will be considered an asset;
  • Previous exposure to subscription-based businesses, conversion optimisation, analytics or online customer acquisition will be considered an advantage;
  • Experience working with payment providers or online checkout environments will be considered an asset;
  • Professional proficiency in English. Knowledge of French will be considered an advantage.

  • Curious and improvement-focused, with the confidence to challenge existing approaches and suggest more effective solutions.
