Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Accurately maintain and update general ledger entries;
  • Post journal entries in the accounting system;
  • Reconcile bank statements against company records and resolve any discrepancies;
  • Prepare monthly reconciliation and reporting documentation;
  • Issue and track customer invoices;
  • Monitor incoming payments and maintain up-to-date records;
  • Follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collections;
  • Conduct data analysis and prepare reports to support management reporting and decision-making;
  • Adhere to internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting;
  • Assist with internal and external audit activities, ensuring thorough documentation and compliance;
  • Provide support to internal committees or project teams aimed at operational oversight and process improvements.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (MQF Level 6) in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (e.g., ACCA);
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an accounting or finance role;
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and risk management practices.

Personal Skills

  • Proficient in accounting software with strong administrative skills;
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
