Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and manage the Finance Department, ensuring efficient financial operations and accurate reporting;
  • Develop, implement, and oversee financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements;
  • Prepare and present financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for senior management and stakeholders;
  • Manage budgeting and forecasting processes, providing strategic insights and recommendations to support decision-making;
  • Oversee tax planning, audits, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory obligations;
  • Implement and monitor financial risk management strategies to safeguard company assets;
  • Optimise financial performance by identifying cost-saving opportunities and driving efficiency improvements;
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure alignment between financial planning and business objectives;
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred) or in the final stages of ACCA;
  • Minimum of 3 years of financial management experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role;
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements;
  • Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools;
  • Proven ability to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
