Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the strategic development and growth of the Tax Advisory business line, setting direction and driving expansion initiatives;
  • Establish, mentor, and manage a high-performing team of tax professionals, ensuring ongoing development and excellence in service delivery;
  • Strengthen the team’s technical expertise and ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations, including FATCA, CRS, DAC, ATAD, Transfer Pricing, Pillar 2, and other evolving frameworks;
  • Deliver high-level tax advisory services to a broad client base, including corporate entities, international groups, and high-net-worth individuals;
  • Conduct in-depth research on complex tax matters and provide commercially practical and well-reasoned advice;
  • Represent the organisation at industry events, seminars, and conferences to showcase tax expertise and strengthen market presence;
  • Design and implement structured tax advisory processes, internal procedures, and service methodologies;
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic objectives;
  • Work closely with internal departments, partners, and stakeholders to broaden integrated service capabilities;
  • Prepare and present tailored proposals and presentations to prospective clients;
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients and business partners;
  • Monitor regulatory developments, market trends, and emerging opportunities to support innovation and sustained growth.

Experience

  • Fully qualified accountant or tax specialist with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in taxation;
  • A recognised professional tax qualification is considered an asset. Candidates without formal certification must demonstrate strong technical expertise and a willingness to obtain the relevant qualification;.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as familiarity with business development tools such as CRM systems.

  • Proven leadership experience, including building, managing, or developing a department or service line;
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels;
  • Strategic and commercially minded, with the ability to identify new business opportunities and contribute to sustainable growth.
