Our client is a leading company in the hospitality and catering industry.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage the day-to-day maintenance function, overseeing both internal maintenance personnel and external service providers;
  • Coordinate contracted maintenance services and adjust work schedules and priorities according to operational requirements;
  • Plan and organise maintenance projects, including the preparation of work schedules, timelines and implementation plans;
  • Lead maintenance teams by providing clear instructions, guidance and direction on required works;
  • Monitor ongoing maintenance projects and provide regular progress updates to management and relevant Heads of Departments, including any potential operational disruptions;
  • Review and approve purchase orders and invoices relating to maintenance materials and services;
  • Assess supplier and contractor quotations to ensure appropriate quality and value for money;
  • Monitor the standard of materials, equipment and works delivered by external contractors;
  • Oversee the effective operation and upkeep of building services, including HVAC, ELV, electrical and plumbing systems;
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in accordance with internal standards, health and safety requirements and recognised industry practices.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Maintenance Manager or comparable senior maintenance management position;
  • Higher Technician Diploma (HTD) or an equivalent technical qualification;
  • Valid Local Licences A and B;
  • Strong technical knowledge of modern HVAC and ELV systems;
  • Good understanding of building maintenance practices and requirements;
  • Previous experience managing both internal maintenance teams and outsourced service providers;
  • Experience preparing maintenance plans, project timelines and preventative maintenance schedules;
  • Experience managing purchase orders, invoices, supplier quotations and maintenance-related expenditure;
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced hospitality environment.
