Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Interpret and follow technical drawings and blueprints to manufacture components accurately;
  • Operate lathe, milling, and other workshop machinery to machine metal parts;
  • Carry out welding of steel and stainless-steel components to the required specifications;
  • Assemble, disassemble, repair, and reassemble mechanical parts and equipment;
  • Measure, manufacture, and prepare rubber and PVC belts in accordance with production requirements;
  • Operate power tools and manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently;
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and specifications are met;
  • Maintain tools, machinery, and the workshop in a clean, safe, and organised condition;
  • Adhere to company health and safety procedures and manufacturing standards at all times;
  • Assist with other production and workshop duties as required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, mechanical, or workshop environment;
  • Experience operating workshop machinery, including lathe and milling machines, will be considered an asset;
  • Experience in welding, machining, mechanical repairs, or the manufacture of rubber and PVC belts will be considered an asset;
  • Basic computer literacy;
  • Valid Category B driving licence;
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
