Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage the full payroll cycle for a portfolio of client companies, ensuring payroll is processed accurately and within the required deadlines;
- Calculate overtime, bonuses, commissions, allowances, leave records, and other payroll-related adjustments;
- Process payroll changes relating to new employees, terminations, salary adjustments and promotions;
- Assist clients with payroll-related queries and investigate and resolve any discrepancies;
- Prepare and submit FSS documentation, engagement and termination forms, and SCC forms;
- Liaise with relevant authorities regarding payroll matters concerning assigned clients;
- Keep up to date with legislative developments and changes affecting payroll processing;
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation across the assigned client portfolio.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar payroll position;
- A-Level standard of education;
- A payroll-related certification will be considered an asset;
- Good knowledge of Maltese employment and social security legislation;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
- Experience using Shireburn.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Ability to manage multiple client payrolls and work effectively towards deadlines;
- Strong problem-solving skills when handling payroll queries and discrepancies;
- Reliable and responsible approach when handling confidential employee and payroll information.
