Our client is a leading company which offers yachting services.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Review customer enquiries, technical specifications, drawings, bills of quantities and tender documentation;
  • Prepare accurate and complete technical and commercial quotations and tender submissions;
  • Obtain, review and compare pricing from suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Calculate costs relating to equipment, labour, transport, installation and commissioning;
  • Define scopes of supply, assumptions, exclusions, delivery periods, payment terms and warranty conditions;
  • Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Logistics and Operations to ensure proposals are technically and commercially accurate;
  • Monitor quotation and tender deadlines and ensure submissions are completed within the required timeframes;
  • Respond to customer queries and clarifications, revising proposals where necessary;
  • Maintain accurate records of enquiries, quotations and tender submissions;
  • Coordinate the handover of awarded projects to the execution team, ensuring all relevant technical and commercial information is provided.

Experience

  • Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial or Energy Engineering;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience within proposals, estimating, tendering or technical sales;
  • Hands-on experience preparing and issuing technical and commercial quotations and tender submissions;
  • Previous exposure to power generation, generator sets, engines, energy systems or industrial equipment will be considered an asset;
  • Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and prepare accurate cost estimates;
  • Good commercial understanding, particularly in relation to costing and proposal preparation;
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word;
  • Fluency in written and spoken English;
  • Willingness to travel when required.
