Company Introduction
Our client is a food producer and distributor based in Gozo.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with distributors and key clients;
- Achieve agreed monthly and annual sales targets in line with company objectives;
- Expand product presence, distribution, and visibility within the Maltese retail market;
- Collect, analyse, and interpret sales and marketing data using BI tools and present insights to Management;
- Negotiate pricing structures, promotional activities, and trade agreements to optimise profitability;
- Monitor competitor activity, pricing movements, and market trends within the FMCG sector;
- Prepare monthly and annual sales forecasts, performance reports, and customer analyses for management review;
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and finance teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and stock availability;
- Support the execution of new product launches, promotional campaigns, and in-store activations.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in FMCG sales; experience within the dairy or food sector will be considered an advantage;
- Strong understanding of the Maltese retail and distribution landscape;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel;
- In possession of a valid driving licence;
- Qualification in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field will be considered an asset.
