Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan, execute, and oversee audit engagements in line with auditing standards and best practices;
  • Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and develop tailored audit testing strategies;
  • Evaluate internal controls, financial statements, and business processes for effectiveness and compliance;
  • Supervise, mentor, and review the work of junior and semi-senior auditors to ensure accuracy and quality;
  • Conduct interviews and process walkthroughs with clients or internal teams to understand key operations;
  • Identify control gaps, process inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, providing actionable recommendations;
  • Prepare clear, high-quality audit reports outlining findings, risks, and recommendations for management;
  • Present audit results to senior management and support follow-up remediation activities;
  • Ensure adherence to relevant standards, including ISA, GAAP, IFRS, or other industry-specific regulations;
  • Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of audit methodologies, tools, and internal processes;
  • Support the development of audit staff through training, knowledge sharing, and guidance.

Experience

  • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
  • Possess 4-6 years of audit experience, preferably in public accounting or internal audit;
  • Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CIA, or equivalent is preferred;
  • Advanced knowledge of auditing standards and accounting frameworks;
  • Experience using audit software, data analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
