Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Manage advisory, regulatory, and transactional matters from inception through to completion, ensuring a high standard of legal service delivery;
- Provide legal advice and support to clients operating across a range of industries, including iGaming, technology, automotive, pharmaceuticals, telecommunications, media, and other regulated sectors;
- Take ownership of complex legal matters and provide commercially focused solutions to clients;
- Develop and strengthen expertise within one or more specialist areas, including data protection, intellectual property, gaming regulation, artificial intelligence, EU digital regulation, technology law, or related fields;
- Support the development of the department through knowledge sharing, process improvements, and the effective use of legal technology;
- Mentor and support junior team members, contributing to their professional development and growth;
- Contribute to publications, legal articles, industry guides, speaking engagements, and other business development initiatives;
- Keep abreast of legal, regulatory, and technological developments relevant to the department and its clients.
Experience
- Fully warranted lawyer;
- Minimum of 5 years' post-qualification experience within TMT, Intellectual Property, or a related legal practice area;
- Demonstrable expertise in one or more of the department's core areas of practice;
- An LL.M. or other relevant specialist qualification will be considered an asset.
