Our clients is a daily newspaper in Malta.Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and manage sales and promotional activities related to media and advertising services;
- Develop and implement strategies to drive advertising revenue and market growth;
- Manage the full advertising sales process, from client acquisition to campaign execution;
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver effective advertising solutions aligned with client needs;
- Analyse market trends and performance data to support decision-making and optimise sales strategies;
- Present proposals and campaign ideas to clients and senior stakeholders;
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients while identifying new business opportunities;
- Ensure that advertising offerings deliver strong value to clients and audiences.
Experience
- Proven experience in media sales, digital advertising, or a related commercial role;
- Strong understanding of digital media business models and revenue strategies;
- Experience using digital analytics tools and interpreting performance data;
- Familiarity with digital subscriptions and online monetisation strategies;
- Knowledge of marketing principles and campaign execution;
- Experience working with CRM systems;
- Understanding of social media, SEO, and newsletter best practices;
- Background in the news media industry will be considered an asset.
