Company Introduction

Our client is a leading local construction firm.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Posting of invoices, credit notes, payments and other transactions into the accounts software;
  • Issuing of invoices to clients;
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts, debtors and creditors;
  • Occasional errands (eg to deposit cheques)ng company vehicle;
  • Maintain a properly organised filing system where necessary;
  • Any other duties as may be necessary from time to time.

Experience 

  • Qualification not required but experience is a must;
  • Knowledge of Shireburn Financial Manager would be an asset;
  • Previous experience working in an accounting background for at least 2 years.

Personal Skills

  • Be organised and able to reach targets;
  • Ability to take an initiative and act on what is required;
  • Able to work in a group and liaise with other departments;
  • Excellent verbal communication skills in English and ideally also Maltese;
  • Punctual and dependable;
  • A clear communicator and an active listener;
  • Able to work in a team
  • Good with Microsoft office tools especially Excel.
