Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Prepare and review technical design and certification documentation for aircraft modification projects;
- Ensure designs comply with applicable airworthiness requirements and Certification Specifications;
- Support the delivery of aircraft interior and exterior modification projects, including the preparation of customer quotations;
- Monitor relevant industry developments and regulatory changes affecting design and certification activities;
- Address audit findings by implementing appropriate preventive and corrective actions;
- Support the coordination of design projects and participate in technical meetings throughout project delivery;
- Liaise with maintenance and production organisations on technical and design-related matters;
- Communicate with customers regarding technical requirements, project timelines, and design-related queries;
- Liaise with EASA and relevant National Aviation Authorities on design and certification matters.
Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, or a related field;
- Previous experience in Design Engineering or a relevant technical aircraft/aviation environment will be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of EASA Part 21 requirements;
- Knowledge of applicable Certification Specifications and EASA design standards will be considered an asset;
- Experience in aircraft interior cabin design and external livery projects will be considered an asset;
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications;
- In-depth knowledge of EASA design standards will be considered a strong asset.
