Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide support on corporate, immigration, contract, employment, data protection, compliance, shipping, and regulatory matters;
- Prepare and review legal and corporate documentation;
- Assist with immigration cases, including preparing work permit and residency application materials;
- Ensure company policies are up to date and aligned with legal requirements;
- Handle client inquiries and offer guidance on legal matters;
- Keep track of changes in legislation and regulatory frameworks;
- Represent clients when liaising with relevant authorities;
- Conduct legal research and deliver comprehensive case analysis;
- Manage and oversee various legal projects as assigned;
- Participate in client meetings and offer support to the legal team;
- Perform administrative tasks related to legal operations as needed.
Experience
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Law;
- Have a solid understanding of legal frameworks and regulatory requirements.
Personal Skills
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with others;
- Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Maltese;
- Display excellent organizational skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines consistently.
