Our client is a company within the building materials industry.

Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and contractor segments;
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial enquiry and quotation to negotiation and closing of deals;
  • Prepare and submit tenders and project proposals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness;
  • Maintain and manage a strong sales pipeline, providing regular updates on opportunities and forecasts;
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals;
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients throughout the entire project lifecycle;
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Operations and Logistics, to ensure timely and accurate delivery of projects;
  • Communicate product specifications, timelines, and installation details clearly to clients;
  • Address and resolve client queries or concerns in a professional and timely manner;
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity, client interactions, and pipeline status;
  • Prepare regular sales reports and monitor performance against targets;
  • Contribute to pricing strategies and market analysis by identifying trends and competitor activity.

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a B2B and/or B2C sales role;
  • Experience within construction, manufacturing, or a related industry will be considered an advantage;
  • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets;
  • Experience managing project-based sales is considered a strong asset;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook;
  • Experience using CRM systems will be considered an advantage;
  • Full, clean driving licence is required.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both Maltese and English;
