Alejandro Shaw’s journey began in 2015, when he left Buenos Aires, Argentina, to explore the world. His travels took him through Uruguay and Germany before he finally settled in Malta in 2019. The strategic location of Malta, with its easy access to continental Europe, made it the perfect base for his wanderlust and love for live music.
Academically, Alejandro pursued a degree in Tourism and Heritage during his early twenties, followed by a Master’s in Fine Arts. His studies laid the foundation for a diverse and eclectic career, always grounded in his passion for culture and history.
Alejandro’s professional path spans multiple industries, including sales, fashion, art, and nightlife, where he’s always brought a cultural perspective to his work. In 2015, he co-founded a cultural centre in Montevideo, Uruguay, working closely with the Montevideo Art scene. He also engaged with global creative communities through social platforms. His experience in these fields helped shape his entrepreneurial spirit and cultural insight.
In 2018, Alejandro’s journey led him to Berlin to reconnect with his family roots. The following year, he moved to Malta, driven by curiosity and new opportunities. Since arriving, he has worked with local airlines and green transportation companies, contributing to initiatives that align with his values. Alejandro is also dedicated to giving back to his new community, creating a social group, which helps newcomers feel at home by offering networking and support.
On a personal level, Alejandro is currently pursuing a degree in Psychology, driven by a lifelong interest in human interaction. He hopes to use his knowledge to help others grow through understanding and empathy. A true millennial, he enjoys the simple pleasures in life—music records, board games, films, coffee, and fitness. With a keen awareness of the global socio-political landscape, Alejandro remains focused on the good of humanity.
