Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets;
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned market and client base;
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients;
- Conduct client needs assessments and recommend suitable products based on individual requirements;
- Present and promote products effectively, clearly communicating features and benefits to clients;
- Deliver professional sales presentations and product demonstrations where required;
- Negotiate terms and successfully close sales opportunities;
- Maintain regular communication with clients through meetings, calls, and follow-ups;
- Support customer retention initiatives by ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and ongoing engagement;
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, pricing, and product developments;
- Provide regular feedback and market insights to management;
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and performance updates within internal systems;
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and KPI updates as required;
- Use invoicing systems and related software to manage sales administration tasks;
- Participate in regular meetings with management to review performance, sales strategies, and service improvements;
- Ensure a professional and client-focused approach at all times when representing the company.
Experience
- Previous experience in sales, business development, or a client-facing commercial role, preferably within the health, wellness, or nutrition industry;
- Familiarity with healthy food supplements and nutrition products will be considered an asset;
- Experience working with invoicing systems, CRM platforms, or related software;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and general computer skills;
- ECDL qualification will be considered an asset;
- O’ Level standard of education, including English and Mathematics;
- Good command of Maltese and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;
- A valid driving licence is required.
