Job Responsibilities and Duties

  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming stock, ensuring accuracy and quality;
  • Organise and store materials appropriately, maintaining clear labelling and accessibility;
  • Maintain and update inventory records within the company’s systems;
  • Carry out regular stock checks and support stock reconciliation and audit processes;
  • Monitor stock levels and report replenishment requirements in a timely manner;
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of equipment, materials, and technical supplies;
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment;
  • Prepare and pack orders accurately for dispatch;
  • Verify orders against documentation and prepare delivery notes and packing lists;
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of goods to clients and designated locations;
  • Assist with urgent deliveries when required;
  • Support procurement activities, including raising purchase orders and maintaining supplier records;
  • Liaise with suppliers to follow up on deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods;
  • Provide support to clients when required, including assisting with product selection;
  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and deliveries;
  • Ensure compliance with company procedures and health and safety standards;
  • Provide operational support during peak periods as required.

Experience

  • Previous experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, or stores;
  • Experience within logistics, supply chain, or technical supply environments will be considered an asset;
  • Experience within marine supply or related industries will be considered an advantage.
  • Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with inventory systems and spreadsheets.
